Thanks Brian. Wave of good conviction hits me in reading that one sentence. I am not there in godly responses either but I want to be there. Get up today, dust off mistakes of the past. Relish the fact that in Christ there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, and start again relying on his grace.

If anyone should care, here are my personal reflections on Muslim nations, extreme pastors, the beauty of God's word, and 9/11. Warning, it is not eloquent but it is heartfelt and raw. Called "Full of Grace", Click here: http://365project.org/wellbride/365/2010-09-11.

Please pray for my friend Kashif and his family made up of a wife, a daughter, and a son. He lives in Pakistan. I posted on fb the other night that I started a small group study at church to grow and he commented how he wished he had something like that to go to. There is such need. Let's pray for Pakistan and please especially pray for my friend. Thanks!

Here is my rant... I really like reading this blog, there is often great insights and things that help me in my walk with Christ. But, I could care less about this extremist pastor in Florida with a church of 30. The only reason people are talking about this is because the media made it a big deal. It should have never have been reported on because it is ignorant people doing ignorant things. Just like I am sure Muslims are tired of the extremist giving them a bad name and that being associated with their religion. I am not "scared" of Muslims nor dislike them because of what the extremist of their religion do. I just wish we could get back to talking about stuff that would encourage and help me and stop giving time to this guy.

"But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell." Matthew 5:22

Is anyone else besides me concerned about all the Christians calling the Pastor in Florida a fool, idiot, stupid? Could it be in all our earnest attempts to side with righteousness that we become guilty of the same thing he is doing? I agree wholeheartedly with the statement above from the guest writer, especially that we need to love both ways. Love God with all our hearts, minds, soul and strength, love Muslims as ourselves, love our brothers who get it wrong as ourselves.

Let God be the one who decides what gets burned in the end. I just want the coal from the alter to get to my lips first before judgment. I'm sure all of you are the same, too.
