You can't forget The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest and The Girl Who Played With Fire. These movies did so well that they have remade them in the US and Hornet's Nest will be released I believe in the coming weeks. I'll have to look at our theater schedule and get back with you.

If you're seeing a lot of hype for Tree of Life, you are going to different movies than me.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo freaked me out. It seemed bizarre, like a movie that wanted to enlighten and confuse me more than entertain me. Had Redbox written all over it. Rise of the Planet of the Apes looks incredible. Love prequel/origin movies.

BTW, anyone who has knowledge of the Swedish versions of the Dragon Tattoo gets a big tip of the cap from me.

Highly anticipated? There are a lot of highly anticipate films that I think you would consider fancy also. For example, Tree of Life, it had tons of hype and anticipation but not considered a blockbuster type movie. I like both the "fancy" films and blockbuster type films. But I don't watch a film just because it is going to be a blockbuster (i.e. Green Lantern or Thor), it has to interest me and look good. I agree with you about these two previews though. And since you are talking just about previews, two movies that I think look interesting based on previews are Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. What is strange about this is I tend to not like it when they remake movies especially recent foriegn movies that were great movies (i.e. Death at a Funeral (British), Dinner for Schmucks(French)).The Swedish versions of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movies were great movies so I was upset that we were remaking them just a couple years later. But the preview for the American version looks awesome, especially with the cover of The Immigrant song by Trent Reznor and Karen O on the preview. I have always liked the original Planet of the Apes but the sequels went downhill and the remake by Tim Burton (who happens to be one of my favorite directors) was not great. I hope this prequel is good, it looks like it could be and is more of a blockbustery type movie. By the way, I like movies.

...off. Guess I hit the 'post' button on accident! As for Spider Man, yeah... Why reboot now? I think the worst of the first three, appears to be better than the previews for this one. And just why DOES Peter Parker look like a reject from the Twilight movies?? Yeah. I'll see it. But not opening day. Possibly not even opening weekend...time will tell.

Same thoughts here brother! Batman? ...well...it's "Batman"!! Although the Joker will be hard to top, I've always liked Bane (NOT the cartoon/puppet/rubber suit guy from the horrible Batman and Robin fiasco!). I can't wait to see how Tom Hardy pulls it
