Jason,

I don't want to give too much away before I actually write the column, but we do need to consider how many times James Bond gets captured and monologuing by inane criminals as well as overly elaborate killing methods. If you just want to restrict Bond to Craig and the last two movies, a stronger case could be made. However, Bond is too cocky and flamboyant. He would get sniped by Bourne.

First of all, I attend the Men's morning bible study and you probably don't recognize my name. The morning study is great by the way. I look forward to it every week and I do not get up early very often.

It is scary how much our movie taste is the same. With three excpetions... Iron Man is way too high. Good movie but it doesn't have the "own me" feel at all therefore doesn't belong on the top movies of 2000's. Casino Royale is my number 1 movie and James Bond/Daniel Craig would wail on Jason Bourne.

Finally my list would include Man On Fire with Denzell Washiington. I love justice and he brings the pain.......

I could talk movies all day.

Corrie, I have seen it and it looks great. Have you seen the Robin Hood trailer with Russell Crowe? I may see that first weekend. I also may have to end my ban on Tom Cruise movies, because Knight and Day looks good. Saw a trailer for Clash of the Titans. Not so sure about that. Liam Neeson is in it, so that takes up two notches right there. We'll see.

Feel free to suggest movies to Bryan and me anytime! Our lists would be very similar to yours! Although - we are huge Harry Potter fans around here so that might be our only real difference. We have actually watched a number of these listed movies in the last few months, Iron Man (our first blue ray purchase), Gladiator, Shrek, and the LOTR movies.

And you mentioned not ever hearing of Christian Bale before - we have been fans for a long time. Have you seen Equilibrium yet? Since you like the Matrix and Christian Bale - you will probably like that movie.

Also - be sure and check out the Iron Man 2 trailer!!

Fun Fun!

You couldn't find a slot on any list for Star Trek. If you got it in Blu-Ray wouldn't you think it deserved a slot. I'm just saying.

Jondod, those so-called Matrix sequels never happened. I repeat never happened. The story in my head is much better and that's what we go with.

It may not have been in the theaters but I'm all about "Band of Brothers" released in 2001 by HBO. Watch the full series every year at least once around Veterans Day. A close friend actually got to meet Captain Winters and some of his men recently at an appreciation gathering. Epic reality and on my list for best of the decade.

How about "The Patriot" with Mel Gibson released in 2000. Great movie!

X-Men in 2001 along with The Hulk in 2003 were nonsense, blow them up contribution to valued, don't have to think just enjoy the action and explosions movies.

Can't believe no one has brought Matrix Reloaded or Matrix Revolutions to the table. Both were released in 2003 to wrap the trilogy. The first movie only missed the decade by one year releasing 1999 so I'll include that by default.

Red or Blue pill? The red pill will answer the question "what is the Matrix?" (by removing him from it) and the blue pill simply for life to carry on as before. As Neo reaches for the red pill Morpheus warns Neo "Remember, all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more."

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is a great chase and blow em' up movie.

There's a few for the list.

El Davo, can you not appreciate the awesomeness of incredible effects and brainless explosions? Do you need something more intellectually stimulating? Are you some kind of liberal arts doctor nerd?
